Quote

“"I believe in one God, and Mahomet, an apostle of God" is the simple and invariable profession of Islam. The intellectual image of the Deity has never been degraded by any visible idol; the honor of the Prophet have never transgresses the measure of human virtues; and his living precepts have restrained the gratitude of his disciples within the bounds of reason and religion.”
-Edward Gibbon and Simon Ockley

Narrated Um Salama: Once Allah's Apostle said. "You people present your cases to me and some of you may be more eloquent and persuasive in presenting their argument. So. if I give some one's right to another (wrongly) because of the latter's (tricky) presentation of the case. I am really giving him a piece of fire; so he should not take it." Volume 3. Book 48.
